Standard Software Although our primary focus is on custom software
solutions, we have developed a few utility programs which may be downloaded
at no cost for non-commercial use. These programs provide very simplified examples of our
software development capabilities. Weather Watcher (Version 1.0) This
program displays the current temperature data for any specified
location served by the US National Weather Service. A small window
showing just an icon of the current conditions, the temperature, and the wind
speed is displayed in a selectable position on the screen. Clicking on
the window temporarily displays a full report of the current weather
conditions. An active internet connection is required for proper
operation.
This program requires the Microsoft .NET
Framework Version 1.1 which must be downloaded & installed
separately. You may download the installation package directly from
Microsoft or from this website. The file is about 23.7 Mb in size.
World Alarm Clock (Version 1.1) This program
displays your current local time (as set in your PC), UTC time, and up
to 3 additional time zones on your PC screen. Up to 5
independent alarms may be set. Each alarm can be set for any of the
time zones being displayed.
This program requires the Microsoft .NET Framework Version 1.1
which must be downloaded & installed separately. You may download
the installation package directly from Microsoft or from this website.
The file is about 23.7 Mb in size. If you already have PowerSDR
installed & working, then you do not have to install the .NET framework
again.
Universal Number Base Conversion UItility (Version 1.0) This program
performs conversions between decimal (base 10) numbers and numbers in any
base between 2 and 36. Digits greater than "9" are
represented by letters (A=10, B=11, C=12. etc.).
Calendar UItility (Version 1.0) This
program displays an on-screen calendar and also allows you to determine the
difference in days, weeks, months, or years between today's date and any
other specified date. Download

which must be downloaded & installed separately. You may download
the installation package directly from Microsoft or from this website.
